Meet Our Littleton Dental Team

Dr. Richard Harvey

Dr. Harvey decided to become a dentist during college. In his words, “I wanted a career that provided opportunities to make a positive impact. Early on I observed caring dentists who were very good at making challenging situations more comfortable for their patients and who made their communities a better place. I fell in love with the profession.”

Dentistry is but one of Dr. Harvey’s passions. He is a talented musician (piano and trumpet) and loves sports. He majored in Spanish and Liberal Arts and Sciences at Utah State University while on a leadership scholarship and was later awarded a Health Professions Scholarship by the U.S. Navy. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from The Ohio State University..

The Navy provided wonderful opportunities early in Dr. Harvey’s career. “It was a great experience and I loved meeting so many amazing people who served so selflessly.”

Dr. Harvey and his wife Crista were high school friends before they started dating. Their four children have distinct interests, but they’ve all assisted their dad during dental humanitarian missions to Central and South America. “We wanted our kids to see what it’s like to treat severe dental disease and gain a broader perspective of our world.”

Dr. Harvey has owned Summit Family Dentistry since 2009. “We love being a part of this amazing community. Our patient relationships enrich our lives and we try to provide a caring, comfortable experience for them.”

Dr. Kara Arceneaux – Clinical Director

Dr. Kara Arceneaux is our Clinical Director and is happy to be serving the Summit Family Dentistry Patients! She completed her Bachelor of Science from Morehead State University in May of 2015 and Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in May of 2020. She chose to go into the dental field because dentistry is the perfect combination of science, art, and human interaction! Dentists have the opportunity to relieve pain, prevent disease, improve esthetics and self-confidence while getting to know our amazing patients!

Dr. Arceneaux is currently engaged and has a shepherd-mix rescue dog! In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors and choosing activities that allow her to enjoy nature such as camping and hiking. She also enjoys music and photography. Her friends would describe her as a fierce advocate, loyal friend, thoughtful teammate, avid learner, and someone who will put others before herself in the interest of the common good.

Dr. Morgan Yoxall

Dr. Morgan Yoxall grew up just down the road from Summit Family Dentistry. She fell in love with the art and science of dentistry while shadowing dentists around town and was inspired to become a dentist by their ability to positively impact people’s lives.

She studied physiology and biochemistry at the University of Colorado at Boulder and then went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Midwestern University in Arizona. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society.

Dr. Yoxall enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and loves being able to provide a warm and caring experience to all of her patients. In her spare time, she loves camping and hiking with her husband and their two dogs.

Dr. Amanda Miller

Dr. Amanda Miller grew up in Parker, Colorado and chose a career in dentistry at a young age. She loved the way that art and health are both so intimately partnered within the profession and she loves helping people love their smile! She has a passion for travel and enjoys skiing, hiking, and spending time outside in her free time.

Dr. Miller earned her undergraduate degree from Metropolitan State University, then went on to attend the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. She received a U.S. Army HPSP scholarship during dental school and spent her first 4 years after dental school as an Active Duty Dentist in Baumholder, Germany. She was also deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Dr. Miller has been practicing for the past 15 years, with 8 of those being in Germany!

Dr. Zaid – Periodontist

Dr. Zaid is a board certified Periodontist here at Summit Family Dentistry! He graduated from dental school in 2016 and has been practicing ever since.

In his free time he loves to snowboard, hike, and play soccer!

“I will explain everything to you regarding your gum and bone conditions, provide recommended and alternative treatment options, and work with your general dentist to give you better oral health.”

Renee – Admin Lead/Patient Care Coordinator

Renee has been in the  Dental and Medical field for 18 years. Summit Family Dentistry is grateful for her experience and for calling our office her home.

She grew up just outside Grand Lake, Colorado and spent a lot of time snow skiing and snowmobiling in the winter along with golfing and water skiing in the summer. Renee has a 21 year old son and is extremely close to her four nephews and two nieces.

One thing that Renee loves about Summit Family Dentistry is that her dental family is so focused on creating strong ties to the community and the overall health and well being of their patients.

Debra – Patient Care Coordinator

Debra was a Summit Family Dentistry patient for several years before joining the staff to welcome patients at the front desk three days a week. Before moving to Colorado 6 years ago, Debra and her husband retired from their long careers as Elementary teachers living in Honduras, Florida and Indiana.

She is very thankful to be living near her three adult children and four grandkids now. Debra enjoys the wonderful patients and coworkers at Summit Family Dentistry, beautiful sunny days in the winter, the changing seasons, Disney trips with family, beach vacations, walks in the park, and Sunday dinners in her home with her family each week.

Esmeralda – Treatment Coordinator

Esmeralda has been in the dental field for 14 years and enjoys seeing patients fulfill their oral health goals.

Originally from Mexico, she moved to Colorado in 1990. Esmeralda is married with 2 daughters and 1 son. In her spare time she likes to explore new activities and adventures with her  kids.

Her favorite life quote is: “Life is too short to live the same day twice.”

Mielan – Treatment Coordinator

Mielan is  originally from Southern California, and moved to Colorado October of 2021. She prides herself on giving our patients the best experience possible. In her free time she attends church, sings, dances, hikes, watches tv shows/movies, and spends time with her family.

What she loves most about her job is being able to come in everyday to serve my team and our patients with a smile on her face.

Roby – Patient Care Coordinator

Roby is originally from Oklahoma, and moved to Colorado in July of 2021. She has worked in healthcare since December of 2021 and thoroughly enjoys it! Although she’s new to the dental world, she enjoys the challenges and opportunities that Summit Family Dental provides!

Roby has  two children, Phoenix and Adeline and spends most of her time caring for her children and finding new adventures to go on. They love going to church, eating french toast at IHOP, playing video games together, and trying new things.

Rose – Marketing Coordinator

Rose is originally from just outside Minneapolis, Minnesota and is new to Colorado. She moved to Denver following her graduation from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in May 2023. She graduated with a degree in Media and Communications but is also a certified nursing assistant. Her favorite things to do are go to farmers markets, sporting events and hanging out with her kitten Percy. She has many years of experience in marketing, sales and social media and is so excited to be part of the Summit Family Dentistry team!

Shereene – Patient Care Coordinator

Shereene joined Summit Family Dentistry in March 2021. She has over 18 years of administration experience within various fields and feels Summit Family is hands down one of the best places she has worked.

She loves delivering work products and services that go beyond organizational expectations, creating a win-win scenario for everyone involved!

Originally from South Africa, she and her husband moved to Colorado 9 years ago. Shereene has a great accent – be sure to give her a “hi” when you see her in the office!

Anabella

Anabelle was born and raised in small town Wiggins, Colorado. She’s been involved in the medical field for nearly 6 years and has gained almost 2 years of experience in the dental field at Summit Family Dentistry. Anabelle is passionate about leaving an everlasting, positive impression on everyone she meets as well as delivering phenomenal patient care.

When she’s not hard at work, you can find her playing sand volleyball, spending time with her family, attending a comedy show, or getting lost on an adventure.

Michelle

Michelle has been a dental assistant for 19 years, she has worked at Summit Family Dentistry
since 2004. She enjoys working with patients and caring for their smile!

She is a Colorado native and in her free time she enjoys camping, snowshoeing, workouts and
spending time with family!

Julissa

Julissa has been an assistant since 2019, and has been at Summit Family Dentistry for almost 4 years. She has gained all of her experience here at Summit.

Julissa is a Colorado native and in her free time she loves spending time with her family and trying new restaurants! She enjoys baking and cooking. She also loves going camping and riding RZR’s!

Ana

Originally from Colombia, Ana’s has lived in the USA for 6 years. She attended dental assisting school in Arizona and now has 2 years of experience in dentistry field. She enjoys learning, helping people find confidence in their smiles, and getting to know where they come from.

Ana loves traveling and getting to learn about all the different cultures of the world including art and dancing. She lives with her boyfriend, Estephon, and their baby pug named Pauly.

orthodontic experience!

Madison – Assistant Lead/Assistant

Madison is new to Colorado and is loving it! She moved here from Utah where she completed a
Dental Assisting program and Bridgerland Tech Center. Her favorite thing to do is go on hikes and hangout with her 2 cats and boyfriend Peter. She loves becoming close to all the patients and staff at Summit Family Dentistry!

Savannah O.

Savannah found her way into the dental field thanks to another assistant here at Summit Family Dentistry. Every day she becomes more knowledgeable about the dental field and oral health.

Savannah is a Denver native and shares an 18 month old daughter with her boyfriend. She loves finding new fun and exciting things to do with her little famSavannah loves to exercise to destress , specifically long distance running and when not working out you can find her shopping!

Savannah W.

Savannah is a Colorado native, she was a sterile tech for 5 months in a small town dental office and fell in love with the dental field and decided to expand her knowledge. She is now in dental assisting school at Concorde College of Aurora and will graduate in July 2023. She wanted to get a head start before graduation, and found her way into Summit Family Dentistry thanks to another assistant! She plans to grow and be successful here at Summit Family Dentistry to help patients.

Savannah has a 1 year old son and loves being a mom. She loves spending time with her family
and you can find her in the kitchen whipping up some yummy Mexican food!

Kasandra – Hygiene Lead/Hygienist

Kasandra is excited to be a part of the hygienist team! She has been practicing for 9 years and is well-versed in many aspects of a dental office including administrative work, dental assisting, oral surgery and periodontics.

She is a Colorado native and in her free time, enjoys hiking, going to the gym, trying new food, shopping, and traveling. Kasandra is married and has two dogs and looks forward to seeing you in the office!

Shannon

Shannon joined our team in 2022 as a registered dental hygienist with over 12 years of experience in the field. Originally from Rockford, Illinois where she attended Rock Valley College. She’s been living in Littleton, Colorado for six years now and calls this home!

In her free time she enjoys camping in her off-grid camper with her husband and bengal cat. She is also into photography, mountain biking, and off-roading.

Fun fact about Shannon: she has extensive training in the sleep apnea realm!

Taylor

Taylor has been a hygienist since 2019, and joined our team in February 2022. She takes pride in providing a friendly and stress free environment for patients. Taylor is originally from Pensacola, Fl where she graduated from hygiene school and worked for a year before moving to Colorado.

Taylor is married, and has two German Shepherds. She enjoys hiking, reading, skating, and loving all the puppies in her spare time.
