Schedule OnlineTooth-Colored Fillings
Fillings are easily the most routine treatment in restorative dentistry. We’ve incorporated advanced technology into our office to provide you with safe, tooth-colored, composite fillings. Unlike traditional amalgam fillings, composite fillings are mercury free and safer for your overall well-being. During this process, the decay will be removed and your cavity will be filled in layers. Once your filling is cured with our special light, we’ll shape it and modify it to ensure your bite is still comfortable.
Same-Day Dental Crowns
Dental crowns, often referred to as dental caps, are tooth-shaped casings designed to completely cover the visible portion of your natural tooth or dental implant. In our office, we use CEREC® technology to allow us to both fabricate and place your crown in one single visit. This way, you don’t have to worry about giving you a temporary crown, taking impressions, or waiting on an off-site lab to create your crown. Your crown will both look and feel like a natural tooth and will blend in seamlessly with your smile.
Dental Bridges
If your smile is being hindered by one or more missing teeth, dental bridges may be a solution for you. This restoration is composed of two or more dental crowns with false teeth in between. The crowns will be permanently attached to the natural teeth or dental implants surrounding your gap and the false teeth will fit perfectly into the empty space. Your dental bridge is only removable by a restorative dentist, so you don’t have to worry about taking it out to eat or sleep.
Full & Partial Dentures
Though many patients consider dentures to be an outdated form of restorative dentistry, advancements in technology have made them more effective and comfortable than ever before. Full dentures consist of a gum-like acrylic base with false teeth attached. They are held in place by dental adhesives using dental adhesives or with the help of four to eight dental implants. Similarly to full dentures, partial dentures also have an acrylic base with false teeth, but they’re secured by metal or plastic clips that attach to the remaining teeth in your gumline. Whether you need to replace an entire row or just a few teeth, dentures can help you!
Start-to-Finish Dental Implants
Summit Family Dentistry is proud to offer one of the most popular methods of tooth replacement—dental implants. These small, titanium posts are surgically placed into your jawbone to serve as replacement tooth roots and the foundation for your preferred restoration. After placement, you will be given several weeks to heal and allow for your implant to naturally fuse with your jawbone. Once this is complete, we will attach a connective structure and your preferred restoration on top.
Implant-Supported Dentures
For optimal comfort and security, we can now attach a full arch of dentures to as little as four dental implants. Your prosthesis will contain sockets that align with the implants in your jawbone to allow you to easily snap it into place. This eliminates slipping, clicking, and any other unwanted movement while you have your dentures in. Your denture will still be removable for proper cleaning.
Tooth Extractions
While we hope to avoid extractions whenever possible, there are some cases that require them. Rather than referring you out to an oral surgeon or specialist, we perform both wisdom teeth removals and simple tooth extractions all in one convenient location. Our professional restorative dentists have the skill and expertise to keep you as comfortable as possible throughout your procedure and provide you with a smooth recovery process.
