Staying inside can be hard, but we at Summit Family Dentistry have come up with unique activities to do while you are at home.
Make Snow Ice Cream: The spring blizzard is here and that means snow activities can commence. One of our team members used to make this recipe with her family when it snowed and it is a tasty and fun science activity!
Craft Challenge: Using items that are already in your home, challenge your kids (or yourself) to make something out of random household items! You can put a time limit on your creation to make it extra exciting. If you made something, post it on social media for your friends and neighbors to get inspired, too!
Try a New Recipe: Now you have time on your hands to attempt that homemade pie crust, or see if you can make a soufflé! Or, make a recipe that your kids can help with like stuffed shells or cookie decorating. Our challenge to you is to make it from scratch!
Floss! You know we had to throw this one in there. But, flossing strengthens your gums and helps prevent gingivitis. Just like working out, your gums need to be worked out, too!
Ready, set, go! Stay active and make the most of the time with your family.
